Mountain Monk Brewers balances a modern craft approach with old-world philosophy. Nestled at the base of Mount Bogong in Mount Beauty, Victoria, this family- and veteran-owned independent brewery crafts exceptional, award-winning beers. Inspired by European monastic brewing traditions, they treat high-quality food and drink as a true service to travelers and locals alike.
Independent. Veteran Owned. Locally crafted. Open whenever the kegs are full and someone's at the bar. Pull up a pew and have a chat with our monk's.
100% independent. 100% veteran owned. No silent partners, no contract brewing. Three brewers and too many dogs.
Sourced from the pristine waters of Victoria's High Country — soft and clean. We adjust for style but never the source. The water makes the beer; we just steer it.
We source local when we can. Voyager Craft Malt in the Riverina and hops from HPA Myrtleford. Our local cows are also kept pretty happy with our spent grain!
1 Lakeside Avenue, Mount Beauty Victoria. Turn left at the roundabout as you come into town. Look out for the monk sign.
